Terms of Use

The rules for using this website and the services of NEW Intercambio, written in plain language, so you know what to expect from us and what we expect from you.

Updated October 11, 2026

Who we are

This website, newintercambio.com, belongs to NEW Intercambio Educational Services INC., a Canadian education consultancy headquartered in Toronto, with its own offices in Aracaju and Araraquara, Brazil. Address: 99 Yorkville Ave, Unit 200, Toronto, ON M5R 3K5, Canada.

By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

What the website offers

  • Information about studying abroad: pages about NEW’s programs and services, the blog, videos and frequently asked questions.
  • Free tools: Canada and US visa times, weather in Canada, Toronto maps and events, the size converter, calculators and the checklist.
  • Contact: forms, chat and links to NEW’s WhatsApp.
  • Digital product: the Toronto Practical Guide, a PDF sold on the website.
  • Community spaces: NEW Games, NetGame, NEW POV and NEW Wall.

Information on the website

We work hard to keep everything on the website accurate and up to date, and the tools use data from official sources, such as the governments of Canada and the United States. Even so:

  • Information on the website is for reference and may change without notice. Visa rules, timelines, prices and school conditions change all the time.
  • The visa times shown are estimates published by governments, not a guaranteed timeline.
  • A visa decision is always made by the government of each country. NEW guides and follows the application, but does not decide or guarantee approval.
  • Website content does not replace one-on-one advice. Before deciding, confirm with NEW or with the official source.

Booking a program or service

Asking for information on the website, in the chat or on WhatsApp is not a booking and creates no commitment. The prices and conditions of each program are given during the consultation.

When you book a program, you sign a Service Agreement (Contrato de Prestação de Serviço) with NEW, and the conditions of that agreement apply.

When the student is a minor, the legal guardian is the one who books and follows the process.

Toronto Practical Guide

  • Payment is made through Stripe, inside the payment window. The website never sees or stores your card details.
  • After the purchase, you get a link to download the PDF. The link has an expiry date and a limited number of downloads.
  • The Guide is for the buyer’s personal use. Reselling it, copying it for distribution or publishing its content is not allowed.
  • The Guide is non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.

Chat, forms and what you send

  • Give true information. Using someone else’s name or contact details is not allowed.
  • Use the chat respectfully. Offensive messages, advertising or scam attempts may be blocked.
  • What you send is handled as explained in our Privacy Policy.

NEW Wall

The NEW Wall is a pixel wall with sales planned to open in January 2027. Today, leaving your contact details on the NEW Wall is only a request to be told when it opens, with no commitment and no payment. When sales open:

  • The wall is focused on content about studying abroad: student experiences, schools, services, tourist spots and other topics about studying and living abroad.
  • Illegal content is not allowed. NEW checks every image before it goes up, and may refuse or remove an image that does not follow these rules.
  • Whoever sends an image confirms they have the right to use it and allows NEW to show it on the wall and to promote it together with the wall.

Games and community

In the games, on NetGame, on NEW POV and in NEW’s groups, respect and common sense apply. NEW may remove content or block anyone who disrupts others, uses offensive language or tries to cheat rankings and prizes.

NEW on social media

NEW publishes its own content on its official social media accounts, such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, using each platform’s official tools. The use of those platforms is also subject to each platform’s own terms.

Third-party links and services

The website has links to and content from other services, such as YouTube, Instagram, Discord, WhatsApp, Reserva INK, NetGame and Stripe, and official government websites. Those services have their own rules, and NEW is not responsible for their content or how they work.

Brand and content

The NEW Intercambio brand, logo, texts, photos, videos and website design belong to NEW Intercambio or are used with permission. You are welcome to share links to the pages. Copying or reproducing the content for other purposes requires NEW’s written permission.

Use that is not allowed

  • Trying to break into, overload or disrupt the website or NEW’s system.
  • Copying the website’s content in bulk with automated programs.
  • Using the website for scams, unauthorized advertising or anything illegal.

Website availability

We work to keep the website online at all times, but it may go offline for maintenance or technical problems. Pages, tools and content may change or be removed.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated. The date of the last update is at the top of this page, and the version published here is the one that applies.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, with jurisdiction in Toronto, and by the laws of Brazil for anyone who uses the website or books NEW’s services in Brazil.
