NEW Experience is an internship program inside NEW Intercambio itself. It was born to help students complete their academic learning, but today it's open to anyone who wants a real work experience, with hands-on immersion in our own workplace.
Beyond enriching your resume, the program gives you a deep understanding of how a Canadian company works from the inside, its practices and culture, preparing you to face the challenges of the global job market with confidence and skill.

A custom professional experience plan, aligned with your goals.
Up to 20 hours a week, in the format you choose.
Weekly hours vary based on your individual plan, up to a maximum of 20 hours a week. Choosing between online and in person is up to you.
It depends on the institution you study at. Ask your NEW Intercambio advisor whether your institution has already registered NEW Intercambio as an employer. If so, we're eligible to be your employer for your CO-OP or Practicum. If not, we'll reach out to the institution to get more information.
After a successful completion, you get a letter of recommendation, which can be used for future job opportunities, plus a certificate of completion for the NEW Experience program.
