Summer on the lake

Toronto Islands

A 15-minute ferry takes you to the islands: beaches, bikes, picnics and the best view of the skyline. The round trip costs CAD 9.57.

Scarborough Bluffs

White cliffs up to 90 metres high over the lake, right next to Bluffer's Beach Park. It feels like another country.

After the rain

Rain carries dirt into the lake. The City recommends not swimming for 24 to 48 hours after heavy rain, even if the day turns sunny.
